What Fair Ball stores on your device

Fair Ball uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store your team's data locally on your iPhone or iPad:

Team and season information you enter
Player names and jersey numbers you enter
Game dates, opponents, and innings you schedule
Attendance records and defensive position assignments

All of this data lives in an app-local database on your device. None of it is transmitted to Joe Raymond or any server we operate — because we don't operate any servers.

What Fair Ball does not do

Fair Ball does not contain any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
Fair Ball does not contain any advertising.
Fair Ball does not transmit any data to Joe Raymond or to any third party.
Fair Ball does not read your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
Fair Ball does not create a user account.
Fair Ball does not share your data with third parties.
Fair Ball does not use any cookies or tracking identifiers.

Children's privacy

Fair Ball is designed for coaches (adults) to manage their own roster of young players. Fair Ball is not directed at children and does not collect any data directly from children. Player names and jersey numbers are entered by the coach and stored only on the coach's own device. This is the same model as writing names in a paper scorebook — the coach records information for their own use, and no third party ever sees it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Because Fair Ball doesn't collect any data about you, there's no way to notify you directly of changes; please check back occasionally if this matters to you.
